It started on a cold November evening in lower Manhattan. Standing in SoHo, watching the world move past in a blur of collars and coats, we saw something fashion had been overlooking: a gap between the runway and the real.

New York doesn't ask who you are before it lets you in — and neither does Velari. This city is where ideas become identities, where a single garment can define a generation. That's where Velari took its first breath.

The name Velari traces back to the Latin concept of covering — of sheltering that which matters most. We chose it because that's exactly what we set out to do: create pieces that protect, that last, and that speak without shouting. At Velari, you give the label its meaning; it's not the other way around.

Every story has a first page. Ours begins with the jacket — in New York, your jacket is your armor, your identity, your first impression. Our debut collection is built for the city and everything beyond it: weatherproof construction, fleece-lined warmth, and silhouettes that move as effortlessly through a Monday meeting as a weekend upstate.

Men's outerwear is our first chapter, but the story we're telling has far more pages. We are expanding into womenswear, genderless silhouettes, and everything in between. because the Velari label doesn't belong to a demographic. It belongs to a mindset.
